Attractions and Activities

The in-house buffalo breeding program can be viewed from the viewing deck opposite the lodge whiles enjoying a sun downer or your early morning coffee. Morning feeds are a firm favourite as these wild and unpredictable animals can then be watched from the safety of the viewing deck as they eat, drink and take a mud bath.

On these walks you will find the footprints (trails) of many species including leopard, hyena, zebra, giraffe, kudu, blue wildebeest, impala, nyala, red hartebeest, gems buck, eland, warthog, bushpig, jackal, duiker, steenbuck, meerkat, monkeys, and many more. The nocturnal animals include caracal, civet, cerval and porcupine. Not to mention the hundreds of bird species that might be watched and identified.
