Set in the heart of the bushveld amongst the biggest ‘health destination’ in Africa, the hot mineral springs Forever Resort, Kingfisher Nest Guesthouse only you offers the very best. From the moment you enter the premises you experience total peace. Greeted by the African Aloes at the front gate and numerous indigenous trees including the famous Baobab and the sound of the Kingfishers’ call as you enter.

Our vision at Kingfisher Nest Guesthouse is to make you feel at home and to give you that unique taste of Africa which is impossible to resist once discovered. Kingfisher Nest is a new accommodation venue set on an 800m premises surrounded by indigenous trees and gardens for the ultimate relaxing vacation or overnight facility.

Accommodation

Our nine bedroom en suite accommodation consists of air-conditioned rooms all with DSTV, bar fridges, air con, coffee and tea facilities, bathroom amenities and are all individually decorated.

Breakfast & Dining

For residents we provide a cooked breakfast. We also provide lunch pack’s and picnic platters. Weather permitting we serve breakfast under the trees in the courtyard at the swimming pool. For the guest who feels like making a nice boma fire and braai the traditional way, our braai facilities around the pool and venue are also available, you can bring your own cooler box or we can serve you from our informal bar facilities.

Other Facilities

We encourage our guests to relax in our comfortable lounge and bar where one can order a cold beer and glass of wine from our licensed facilities. Kids are welcome where they can swim in our heated pool and play on the green grass surrounding the guesthouse while mom and dad can relax on the patio with a book.

Guests can take a walk to our Curio shop and tea-garden where you will find everything you need from biltong to something nice to wear for the ladies in our exclusive boutique.

At Kingfisher Nest we also offer a pick up service from O.R Tambo Airport only an hour and a half drive as well as to any soccer stadiums all within 150km from our premises. Soccer City, Loftus, Royal Bafakeng and Peter Makaba stadiums are all close to the premises.

Activities and Attractions

Kingfisher Nest is the perfect break-away where you will find Zebula, Mabula , Mabalingwe and various other game farms all within a 20 minute drive. For the golf fanatics there is Zebula golf course, Elements, Koro Creek and Ephorbia also within a 20 minute drive from the premises.

The Carousel Casino is also within a 20 minute drive from the guesthouse for gambling or night entertainment and the world famous Forever Resorts (2 minute drive) in Bela-Bela for the fun in the sun type person.
